Eric S. Belcher, MD, AAHIVS, is a Family Medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ages. He is currently completing his residency training in the Rural Track Program at HCA/Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia, where he focuses on full‑spectrum primary care, chronic disease management, preventive health, and acute care across the lifespan.
Dr. Belcher brings a unique background in medical laboratory science and infectious disease diagnostics, having previously worked as a molecular and microbiology medical technologist and laboratory leader. This experience strengthens his commitment to diagnostic stewardship, evidence‑based practice, and high‑quality patient care.
He holds advanced certification as an HIV Specialist (AAHIVS) and has clinical interests in HIV medicine, infectious diseases, rural health, and improving access to care in underserved communities. Dr. Belcher is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health.
